They met on farmersonly.com in 2016 and married in October 2019 at The Barn in Fernbridge. They bought the ranch in January of 2020. The following May, after being asked to host a wedding for friends, they began developing the barn, putting in a large wooden dance floor, and building a saloon out of the old horse stalls.
Roman came up with the name Hitching Post and Heidi added North Coast. The North Coast Hitching Post popularity started to grow as more friends and acquaintances requested to have their events in the barn and on the meadow.
